Below are examples of writing pieces I have done whether it be for academic purposes, my time interning at local vintage showroom Romi Gold, or extracurriculars including Cistern Yard Magazine.
Romi Gold Copy
During my time at Romi Gold, I was able to use my skills as an English major to craft professional copy for many aspects of the brand, including garment description, what the brand offers, as well as script for many different components of the Romi Gold website. Attached is a document compiling some of the many pieces of copy I wrote, such as the websites About page, FAQ’s, and Client agreements. This artifact demonstrates my ability to translate a brand’s aesthetic into clear, engaging, and functional written communication that speaks directly to clients and consumers. Moving forward, I will use these foundational copy assets to help maintain consistency across future client touchpoints and adapt our messaging as the brand's product offerings expand.
From Text Boxes to Tik Tok's: How Influencers are Taking Over Journalism
Much of the work I’ve done in terms of crafting personal brand narrative is exclusiver to the Romi Gold team’s eyes for much of the brand and tone guidelines are meant to be kept private. Instead, I will demonstrate some of my other work, which comes from the College of Charleston magazine “The Cistern Yard”. Below is a link to one of the articles I have written for them over the years. This artifact showcases my journalistic writing and editorial skills in a public-facing medium, proving my ability to conduct research, gather sources, and craft compelling long form content. Having completed this piece, I will apply these article-writing and narrative techniques toward long-form marketing collateral, such as press releases, editorial features, or blog posts for future campaigns.
